We bought it for the back of our deck so we could spend time in the sun and relax without being in direct sunlight all day. We're really pleased with how easy the setup was and how robust the umbrella feels.

This is a beautiful, well-made umbrella. We didn't want to go with a permanently covered patio (which would block much-needed sun in the winter). So we decided that this large, maneuverable umbrella would be a very good alternative solution. It looks like we made an excellent choice.
